I have never been a practicing logistics engineer. I have modeled a variety of physics-related problems in C, C++ and Python. I have analyzed large amounts of data, reduced the data using statistical methods, using optimization techniques, linear regression, non-linear best fit and other numerical techniques. What I like about that aspect is that I seem to be a natural computer programmer. I have used computational techniques to solve a multitude of problems. Imagination is a very important aspect to solving problems computationally. Many people think the computer does all the work. Actually, if a program is poorly written, the computer will do very little work because the program is inefficient. Therefore, imagination is important to writing efficient computer codes.
