The National Council for Interior Design Qualification is an independent, nonprofit organization that works to identify to the public those interior designers who have met the minimum standards for professional practice by passing the NCIDQ Examination. Like the “bar” exam for the legal profession, the NCIDQ Examination measures the competency of interior designers to practice as professionals.
