WiMAX subscriber decodes the DLFP as it is transmitted at BPSK1/2. DLFP tells position of DLMAP,ULMAP,UCD and DCD which are transmitted in downlink burst 1. Once ULMAP/UCD is decoded subscriber comes to know its uplink transmission frame position and modulation-coding scheme it need to use in the wimax frame.
