IELTS Speaking: What is a perfect vacation for you?

You should say: 

• where the vacation would be 
• who would be with you 
•  what you would like to do there 
• Describe your perfect vacation

Many individuals dream of having the perfect vacation, but most of the time they don't know how to get it.  

However, if there's one thing I've learned over the years about having a wonderful vacation, it's that it's only possible if we don't put too much emphasis on the word "perfect."  

After all, it is the'stress' of preparing the perfect trip that detracts from its enjoyment.

But, because I'll need to put the discussion of this topic into context, I'll have to name the location of my vacation, which might range from visiting an isolated island far from civilization to a lovely mountain site near a great lake, depending on the circumstances.

To be honest, I don't want to think about cooking or eating when I'm on vacation since it would take up too much of my time away from appreciating mother nature.  

Apart from swimming in the lake for as long as I like, I wouldn't mind jumping in and catching some fish to cook on the grill.

It would be the ideal vacation for me because I would be able to do whatever I wanted.  

Furthermore, this trip would allow me to spend time with my daughter and loved one which is something I don't get to do very frequently because of my busy job schedule.

For me, the perfect holiday would be one spent with my parents, because I now live in a different city and we don't get to see each other very often. I really miss spending time with them, and that's why whenever we get the chance, we go on family holidays. For us, the perfect holiday would be a relaxing beach holiday.
