Extrusion is the process where a metal or a metal bar is pulled through a mandrel to elongate it and/or give it a final shape.

Extruded Aluminum is a common form of making small aluminum wire, bars or beams and many varieties of small non-structural, decorative pieces.

This type of pressure gauges were first developed by E.bourdon in 1849. These gauges can be used to measure over a wide range of pressure from vaccum to pressure as high as few thousand psi. It is basically consists of C-shaped hollow tube. whose one end is fixed and connected to the pressure tapping, the other end is free. the cross section of the tube is elliptical.
